When you are a celebrity like Gareth, it's very difficult to keep your life private. Press hover around, and sometimes misconstrue what is said to them deliberately just to get a better story. People have said that Gareth should have waited before announcing his new relationship, well that is fine if you are being left alone, you can choose, but if you are being hounded by the Mail, you have no choice. So if anyone thinks the timing isn't right, maybe it wasn't timing , it was necessity, who knows for sure, but no-one should give him a hard time over this by assuming it was a deliberate choice.

It must be very wearying to have the Press breathing down your neck wherever you go, and whoever you are with. Gareth's happiness is what matters to me, he has inspired me so much for the last 12 years, I think we should be focusing on that, and wishing him the happiness he deserves.  love Carol xxx |

I have really enjoyed reading down this thread and seeing how much support there is for Gareth. Thank you everyone, there is such a lot of love for Gareth on here, and I also want to echo what others have said. He is very happy, and I am pleased for him because he deserves it!  |

Well I must agree with every thing that has been said.I was saddened when the split was announced but to see how happy Gareth is now I can see it was the right decision.It can't be much fun for both partners being trapped in a loveless marriage.Faye makes him happy and that's what counts.I support Gareth coz I love his voice and I like the person he is not because of his private life or what the press chose to print. I will continue to do so. No matter what.I wish him and Faye a happy future.
