Hi Folks
Friday 18th October was a very special ay for me. My Lovely H managed to arrange for me to see Gareth at Leamington Spa. It was a dopuble pleasure as I met Carol for the first time there with her lovely other half Keith. They are a pleasure. We saw Maria and Sarahjane there as well.
We all went to the Assembly Rooms at 7pm and had to queue to get tickets even though we had Etickets, very confusing, Carol only had an email about hers. We didn't have any bother though and went up to the Room. There were chairs out whoch confused us because it said standing only.
we Both went right up to Maria and Sarah-Jane and gave then a hug Andrea wasn't with them.
Well we waited and we waited and we waited. 8 oclock came still nothing then at Half past a support act man came on for half an hour. Very nice but it q2wasn't Gareth.
However our patience was rewarded when just before 9pm Pete came on tuning up his guitar then a short while Later the man himself singing Free he was brilliant , song after song note perfect. he did 45 monutes and the had a break. We had been able to run up to the stage at the end of the first set and it was so special to be so close even though there was a barrier. We saw Missy with a lady but she went off just as the first set finished.
Gareth came back on after about 10 minutes and was just a brilliant but he seemed to be hurrying to me as the songs were strung together quite fluently with not much of a break in between. Missy didn't come back for the second set. He had us all singinng rouind the stage and he was loving it , we were loving it. I managed to record Free on my mobile phone but its not that good as it was too far away but sounds fine lol

All too soon it was over and myself Carol and Keith shot round to the stage door , it was tipping rain , but when we got there we were told by some staff that Gareth had gone as Missy had been really sick.
Really sad not too have been able to get a picture with him but he had to look after Missy. We went back to the Assemly and said Bye to Maria and Sarahjane then headed back to the car and the train station for me.
Carol and I had a picture together though. I am so pleased to have met her and Keith wonderful friendly and kind people. I wouuld love to meet them again.
