I just received my tickets today, am so excited ! Have a great time carol, and don't forget to share it with us after. Wish I was coming with you. I am only 4ft 10ins, can you smuggle me in a big hand bag. Haha! Not that's an idea gazzy ;D |

Lucky Girl I have been thinking of going to Lichfield no idea where it is :lol: but its in February so apart from bad weather its a good time. its way after Christmas and long before my Hair trip (mind you thats Bradford so that doesn't count I could almost walk there :lol: After Aladdin its a long time until May so February would be good and I really need to some Music Music (if you know what I mean) Carol do you have any info about these acoustic gigs like how long they are they and do you have to book a seat like at the theatre. Do you think its too late to book for Lichfield ? Anyone no where it is? |

It's only just been announced on Gareth's Facebook, and it says you can't book yet. Maybe I can talk Keith into a weekend away in that area, not sure yet. Let me know what you decide to do. xx |

Well I wouldn't risk not booking myself. I booked for Stratford,, though it said you could get tickets at the door. Maybe if we keep the link we could keep checking it. So busy as usual with everything, but am doing my best to keep up with Gareth's gigs. It's hard what with Hair as well. Hoping to book Bromley with Vera as soon as we get the nod. |

I REALLY THOUGHT I WOULDN'T BE GOING TO STRATFORD AS PETER WASN'T KEEN ON GOING AS HE DOESN'T LIKE CROWDED PLACES HOT AND LOUD. EVERYONE STANDING. BUT PETER SOMETIMES NEEDS TIME TO DECID FOR HIMSELF AND A WEEK BEFORE HE SAID WE WOULD GO  BY A STRANGE TWIST OF FATE, THE TICKETS DIDN'T ARRIVE BUT WE HAD AN E MAIL FROM ZOE AT COX'S YARD LAST MINUTE TO SAY I HAD WON TICKETS AND WAS ON THE GUEST LIST , WITH HER PHONE NO. . I RANG HER AND SHE WOULD RESERVE A TABLE FOR US. ;D THIS WAS AMAZING AND PETER FELT FAR HAPPIER IN THIS SITUATION SO WE WERE BOTH LOOKING FORWARD TO IT AND DECIDED TO STAY THE NIGHT SO WE COULD HAVE A GOOD LOOK ROUND STRATFORD THE NEXT DAY . THE B@B WAS ONLY 5MIN WALK FROM COX'S YARD . WE ARRIVED AT THE VENUE AT 6.45 , MET HAILEY AND HER MUM AND THEN CAROL AND KEITH ARRIVED. HAILEY HAD ALSO MANAGED TO RESERVE A TABLE NEXT TO OURS . WE WEREN'T ALLOWED INTO THE MUSIC VENUE TILL 8.30 SO WE ALL HAD A GOOD GARETH CHAT AND WHEN WE WERE ALLOWED IN WE FOUND OUR TABLE RIGHT AT THE FRONT WHICH WAS FANTASTIC FOR ME AS I HAVE SUCH DIFFICULTY BEING ABLE TO SEE . FAR FROM IT BEING HOT AND CROWDED IT WAS QUITE COLD AND NO PUSHING AND SHOVING TO GET A SPACE . SO WE WAITED AND WAITED AND WE WAITED . AND THEN ABOUT 9.30 O.M.G. I JUST COULDN'T BELIEVE IT , GARETH CAME ON AND WAS ONLY ABOUT 7 FT. AWAY . I WAS JUST TRANSFIXED ALL OF THE TIME . HE HAD A SPOT LIGHT ON HIM AND ALTHOUGH I STILL COULDN'T SEE HIS FEATURES VERY WELL IT WAS EVERYTHING ELSE , THE WAY HE MOVED , THE WAY HE STOOD , THE ACTIONS HE MADE WITH HIS HANDS , AND AS THE GIG PROGRESSED HE REALLY THREW HIMSELF INTO IT AS IF HE JUST COULDN'T EXPRESS HIMSELF ENOUGH . I LOVED IT SO MUCH AND HE INVOLVED THE WHOLE CROWD WHO WERE REALLY ENJOYING IT. SORRY I CAN'T LIST ALL 16 SONGS 2 OF WHICH WERE ENCORES BUT VERY SIMILAR TO HIS OTHER GIGS IT WAS TRUELY FANTASTIC I DIDN'T WANT IT TO END. AFTERWARDS GARETH SIGNED AND DID PICS AND WHEN I ASKED HIM HE ADMITTED HE WAS SHATTERED BUT HE DIDN'T ACT SO , HE WAS JUST LOVELY IT WAS AN ABSOLUTLY WONDERFUL NIGHT AND PETER ADMITTED HE WAS REALLY GLAD HE HAD GONE AFTERALL ;D |
