Hi Folks Well our man is something else. I am bursting with pride. Such a Charismatic man. I have uploaded the programme to youtube crossing my fingers it doesn't get kicked off for some reason. Thanks Debbie, great to have these on here especially for those who may have missed it altogether. What a day yesterday, still trying to recover, ha! Found the programme overwhelming, and am now 'lost for words' (what irony!). That is a sign of a good programme because it has impact on the non-stammerer. Majorly proud of our man X

DEBBIE THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE LINKS TO THE PROGRAMME. IT WAS A VERY MOVEING PROGRAMME AND VERY POWERFULL IN ITS MEANING. I AM JUST SO PROUD OF GARETH . YOU CAN TELL HOW MUCH HE IS TOTALY DEDICATED TO HIS WORK WITH STANNERERS. HOW REWARDING IT IS FOR HIM TO SEE SUCH FANTASTIC IMPROVENENTS IN THE PEOPLE ON THE COURSE, AND IT REALLY SHOWS IN HIS FACE. Thanks Debbie and H for getting the videos up for us to watch . lovely write up in the Metro, thanks Andrea and also your lovely blog too Carol. Gareth's involvement with the recovering stammerers was a joy to watch. His passion to help others overcome their difficulty and the empathy he so clearly has with them is something very special. It was heartwarming to see the way Gareth encouraged them to speak and very moving to see the wonderful results. What a true inspiration he is .

I was lost for words after watching this, I found it very moving and the speeches at the end were so emotional, Rory thanking Gareth and saying he had looked up to him since he was six years old, I didn't expect the students to affect me as much as they did, being told how much this McGuire Programme changes people lives and actually seeing it is completely different. Sarah hiding her stammer all these years, not wanting people to know reminded me when I was younger and how I would bluff my way through situations rather than tell people I was partially sighted, Sarah's speech had me in tears. Gareth was amazing so proud of him, he does a fantastic job. Thank you very much Debbie & H for uploading these files for us |
