Oh Ann, I just love your story, it 's so touching.  As your friend I know what a very brave lady you are, and how inspiring Gareth's example of never giving up, has been to you. You have travelled into london alone by train many times to see Gareth, and you have my admiration for such courage.  We are all so lucky to have Gareth in our lives, like you when I first became a fan, I never dreamed Iwould meet this amazing young man one day, let alone that he would remember my name ;D If I could have a wish it would be that all the Gareth fans could meet him too, especially those from other countries. Örülök,hogy rátaláltam erre az oldalra,mert nálunk már évek óta semmit nem mondanak Róla.Nagyon sokszor az Õ dalai vidított fel.Köszönöm,hogy itt lehetek. It's been so interesting reading all your stories, and I can feel just how inspiring Gareth has been to so many of you. My story is very short and sweet. I have loved Gareth ever since I was a very young girl, and I have grown up with him you might say. I have never met him, but love to read all your reports and see your pics. Hopefully one day I will meet him. |

My story also started during the final run up to the Pop Idol final. I had heard Gareth and Nicola singing "Beauty and the Beast" in the crowd and was surprised how much I wanted him to win from then on. Every week I got more and more impressed by Gareth's cute looks and smile and his beautiful voice and when he stammered my heart went out to him. I remember the night of the Final. I had a prior engagement booked with some friends so I asked my
hubby to record it mor me. When I watched it through and Will won I went to bed and cried!!! That was the beginning of my wonderful journey as a Gareth fan . I love the sincerity of his beautiful voice and how handsome he is and his lovely personality. I have been fortunate enough to meet nhim several times and have some wonderful photos which I treasure . Also I have met some lovely people on here who have the same love for Gareth . He is a very special man!

No, the time at "Joseph" was,nt the first time. It was at the Bradford signings that I first had my pic taken with Gareth. I can still rember how awestruck I was. But the time at "joseph" was also special too when Gareth stopped for me even though the stage people were hurrying him in. It was a lovely time was'nt it?

I had forgotten you went to the Bradford signing, but I have 2 photos of you since,one taken at Joseph, and the other was the Valentine concert I believe when we stood in the rain waiting for Gareth, and bless him, he didn't disappoint he came out with an umbrella and thanked US for waiting for him. Lovely memories, and I hope we can do it again some time. ;D I don't know if this will help you at all Margaret, but if you look in your pm section and click on prefernces, it gives you the option to create an alert which comes up in a box to tell you there is a pm when you log on. You also have the option of having an email. I think if I didn't do that I would never notice my messages. LOL Do hope this helps you. love carol xxx |

I SAW GARETH IN JOSEPH, I LOVE MUSICAL THEATRE, AND IT KNEW THEN WHAT A LOVELY VOICE HE HAS. HE ALSO SEEMS A THOROUGHLY NICE YOUNG MAN. I HAVEN'T MET HIM, I AM TOO OLD TO HANG AROUND OUTSIDE THEATRES,BUT I FOLLOW EVERYTHING HE DOES NOW. THANK YOU CAROL FOR CREATING THIS THREAD, IT HAS BEEN SO INTERESTING TO READ.
