Thank you so much for posting these videos Blanka, and taking the trouble to find them. We are lucky tonight cos Debbie has also posted up a video of Gareth in Memory Lane when he was in DOI. ;D

I´ve watched the Memory Lane DOI video posted by Debbie and was wondering which part of DOI was their performance with red hats, since I had seen all parts on Youtube before and don´t remember this performance. Do you happen to know which part of DOI was it? I loved seeing Gareth on skates, he looks gorgeous and did tremendous job learning figureskating. My daughter went figureskating for 6 years, so I know how hard it is and it´s really admirable. Love, Blanka xxx

Thank you for the postings of these vids. Blanka. They really wet the appetite to see the show. Re. DOI, the one with the red hats and canes was props night. It was the one episode before Gareth's last week when he was knoced out of the competition, more's the pity. It is close to being my favourite episode, and it is not, it appears on youtube. It was the day he had suffered a migraine and was poorly when he came onto the ice to practice before the show. But he skated beautifully, and it was to the song Try a little Tenderness. It was mother's day too and he had his Mum stand up in the audience! Hope this helps. x

Love, Blanka xxx Hi Blanka, You can see from Sue's post all the info you need, thanks Sue for your contribution. ;D I used to love DOI when Gareth was in it, he looked gorgeous, and his showmanship was evident, even though he didn't sing a single note. That performance with the hats was my favourite of all of his performances, and what does stick in my mind was Keith was visiting his mother cos it was Mother's day, my children were with me, and he was not particularly a fan of Gareth at that time. He was so impressed by his performance, he said he was easily the best that night, he actually voted from his Mum's house. I was gob smacked when he told me. Since then Keith has met Gareth lots of times, and has a huge respect for him, not only as an artist, but also as a person . The last time we saw Gareth at Dartford, he actually said " It's nice to see you both again", which was very polite cos Keith usually just stands and takes the pics. love carol xxx

And an icing on the cake for our lovely June I´m really sorry for making such a mess here with all those videos, but I just can´t help myself. June, when your comp is ready, I´d really appreciate it if you could put them all systematically in the Melting Pot Thanks so much. In the meantime I´ll try and find some more videos. Sue and Carol, thanks a lot for the information on DOI, but unfortunately I haven´t found the particular video I was looking for, never mind Hugs, Blanka xxx

Blanka you have not made a mess of anything, you have willingly given up your time to find all these lovely performances for us. ;D I think it's a great idea for June to move some to the melting Pot cos then we have them for all time, whereas with the threads. as new things are posted, they will go down the page. Please feel free to post anything you want to share with the fans Blanka, we are here to celebrate Gareth, and that is what we do. Debbie is the one that can probably help you with a DOI video Blanka, she has her own video site on Youtube. If you pm her with your details, she will try to help you. love carol xxx

Nowadays it´s really my best hobby to find out about Gareth, feel like a papparazi really, which doesn´t make me feel proud... It´s a kind of obsession or addiction really, but luckily a harmless one Have a good night, chat soon xxx
