Here is a nice writeup about Gareth being on the tour in the Yorkshire Times. Is that you sorted now June? xx love Carol xxx Multi million selling singer and Dancing on Ice star, Gareth Gates, has announced he will be joining the final Dancing on Ice Tour which comes to the region in April. Gareth will join fellow celebrities on the Dancing on Ice Final Tour 2014; 2009 winner Ray Quinn, 2010 winner Hayley Tamaddon and 2007 champion Kyran Bracken on the tour which stops off at Sheffield’s Motorpoint Arena from April 15-17. They will also be joined on the tour by comedian Joe Pasquale. More celebrities are due to be announced soon. Gareth said: “I’ve loved this series, so I’m glad I don’t have to hang up my skates just yet – can’t wait to get on the tour and skate all around the country! We’re going to have a lot of fun”. The 2014 Dancing on Ice tour will star skating legends Torvill and Dean and feature Olympic gold medal winner Robin Cousins, who will head the panel of rink-side judges, alongside former professional skaters Karen Barber and Nicky Slater. They will be on hand to give their expert feedback and all important scores to the celebrities and their skating partners. Fans will see their favourite skating couples competing live for the judges’ votes and the audience can use their mobile phones to text vote for their favourite celebrity to win. Audience votes will then be added to the scores from the judges to decide the overall celebrity winner. The winning couple will then take to the ice for a magical finale performance of Bolero. West End star and singer Ray Quinn said; “I’ve had some amazing highlights in my career and winning Dancing on Ice in 2009 is certainly one of the best! I am thrilled to be able to continue my time on the ice and be part of the tour. I’m buzzing to be able to put on a great show for fantastic audiences around the country”. Coronation Street actress Hayley Tamaddon commented; “Dancing on Ice is a huge part of my life and to be on the final tour is a real honour. Having performed on the tour before, I know just how great the arena shows are and the fantastic support you get from the audiences across the UK - see you on the road!” Former England Rugby captain Kryan Bracken added; “I’ve had the pleasure to appear on the Dancing on Ice tour several times over the years, both as a contestant and a judge, so I’m delighted to be back. We’ve got some great routines lined up for the arena audiences and I can’t wait to perform for them again.” Comedian Joe Pasquale agreed; “Wow, I’m getting ready to get my skates on again! Dancing on Ice is a great show and I’m really looking forward to joining Torvill & Dean and the other celebs on the UK tour. Roll on 28th March!” Tickets purchased online and through the ticket hotline are priced £35.75, £46.75 & £63.25 plus a limited number of family tickets priced £137.50 & £99 including booking fee. And now the Telegraph and Argus too love Carol xxx Why Gareth Gates can't wait to skate across the country

Bradford Telegraph and Argus: Why Gareth Gates can't wait to skate across the country Why Gareth Gates can't wait to skate across the country Gareth Gates has been voted off the Dancing on Ice rink – but he’s not hanging up his skates just yet.
The Bradford singer has joined the line-up for the last live tour of the show, celebrating the 30th anniversary of ice legends Torvill and Dean’s Olympic success.
Gareth and professional partner Brianne Delcourt skated back in time for Sunday’s 1984-themed Dancing on Ice show. Wearing a George Michael-style blond wig, Gareth skated to Freedom by Wham! and judges Jason Gardiner and Karen Barber said it had been his best performance of this final series.
But with the fewest public votes, Gareth ended up in the bottom two, competing in a skate-off against Sam Attwater and losing out to the former EastEnders star, who was saved by all four judges.
Now Gareth, who shot to fame on Pop Idol in 2002, will join the Dancing on Ice Final Tour, alongside other previous contestants such as Ray Quinn, Hayley Tamaddon and Kyran Bracken.
Gareth said: “I’ve loved this series, so I’m glad I don’t have to hang up my skates just yet – I can’t wait to get on the tour and skate all around the country! We’re going to have a lot of fun.”
The tour, which comes to Sheffield’s Motorpoint Arena from April 15-17, will star Torvill and Dean. Olympic gold medal winner Robin Cousins will head the panel of rink-side judges, alongside former professional skaters Karen Barber and Nicky Slater.
Pudsey actress Hayley Tamaddon, a previous Dancing on Ice winner who is competing in the final series, said: “Dancing on Ice is a huge part of my life and to be on the final tour is a real honour. Having performed on the tour before, I know just how great the arena shows are and the fantastic support you get from audiences across the UK.”
l Fans of Gareth, who runs the Gates Academy for performing arts in Bradford, will still see him on the small screen over coming weeks, thanks to his appearance in ITV2's The Big Reunion.
The show reunites former pop bands but has also created a new ‘pop supergroup’, 5th Story, made up of Gareth, former Coronation Street actor Adam Rickitt, Another Level singer Dane Bowers, solo artist Anthony Kavana and Blazin’ Squad rapper Kenzie.

When I saw the tickets were £74 + £7 booking fee I was chuffed to see that the Tour was coming to the new Leeds Arena, then I wouldn't have to stay over or travel far. When I rang the other day they said they were almost sold out for all shows they only had seats at the back of the Top Tier, I was gutted I would of Loved to of seen Gareth skate just the once but as I would struggle front row,Ice Side there is no chance up the top. They said the tickets had been on sale for some time but as Gareth has only recently been confirmed I didn't book before, the tickets are far too expense .
Has anyone been able to get tickets at one of the other arenas?

One of my facebook friends asked me if I was to going to Wembley , she is already booked, and I did notice that matinee tickets are half price, but in the end I decided as we were in Suffolk that week, to try for Nottingham. It's not that far from Suffolk. Ann phoned up and booked them, as we can't afford to both go, Keith and Peter will spend time together whilst we are in the show. Ann did well, quite good seats, ticket cost £42.50. I do hope you can get to one of them June. Have you tried Manchester or Birmingham? love Carol xxx

Love June x

Thank you ANN & CAROL. I have managed t get tickets for the Matinee on the 27th April at LEEDS When I was told there were no tickets below top tier I thought may be I could get just 1 odd seat somewhere nearer. My Ben helped me look online but it wasn't clear where the seats were and how near I would be. I decided to go to the Booking Office at the Arena but wasn't able to go before Saturday. So it wouldn't be a wasted journey I rang Friday night to see if these seats were still available and asked if I came down if they were able to show me on a full seating plan where exactly I would be sat. I explained that I had tried for 2 tickets but was told there wasn't any so I was now after just one. This very nice lady was checking to see what was still available and first spotted 2 seats on row E of the first tier one block of the centre of the rink but with 2 people between them, whilst deciding whether to book those seats, she then spotted 2 seats row F nearer the centre block so I booked them. I think she said there are about 8 rows ice side, then we are 6 rows up so I am a little bit nervous. BUT if I want to see Gareth skate this is the best chance I am going to get. Love June x
