Blink Box Today in Bradford

My friend Karen and I got to Tesco about 11.30. There was a Blink Box stand with music playing and another with stools and headphones where you could listen to music. Inside the foyer there was the Blink Box Booth. People were going in for photos, you could choose from different Big Reunion people in the background and have your photo taken with them. It was early so we went to the cafe for a cup of tea. We went back down about 12 and joined the queue and met some lovely people. Gareth arrived about 12.30 and went in to Tesco there was some people waiting just inside(Press I think) one had a camera, Gareth was in there for a while.

While I was queuing and chatting to people some one behind me tapped me on the shoulder I turned round and for a split second I thought it was Gareth and then realised it was Paul he just stopped for a short time to say hello and then went off some where.

Then it all got started there was Mark from A1, Linzi from Girl Thing and of course Gareth. We had to wait quite a while for our turn everyone seemed to be in the booth for ages. Eventually it was my turn, when I went in I said hi to everyone and Gareth gave me a hug. It was so lovely to see him For the photo I stood between Gareth and Mark and Linzi was at the front crouched down. We chatted while waiting for the photo and then Linzi asked if I would like it on FB, Twitter or sent to my email, I wanted to look at it first so asked if she could email it to me. Then the photo was ready and I said that was quick and Mark said don't worry you still have time for a cuddle and a g**** well we laughed. A little while later the photo was developed they all signed it and it was timed to go so thanked them and had one last and final cuddle with Gareth. I had such an amazing five minutes or so never had so much time so close to Gareth, and Mark and Linzi were really lovely too.

I think its going to take sometime before I come back down to earth

I am so happy that you managed to get there June. I know how excited I was when Gareth came to Herne Bay, it's really special when it's your own home town.

How nice that Paul said hello to you, and what a fun time you all seemed to be having in the lovely picture with Gareth acting all cheeky. Wonderful and thanks so much for sharing it with us.

Stars of reality TV show the Big Reunion, including Bradford’s own Gareth Gates, popped to a supermarket yesterday to meet their fans.

Gareth, a runner-up in the first series of Popstars, Mark Read from chart topping boyband A1 and Linzi Martin from 90s girlband Girl Thing visited Tesco in Great Horton Road to sign autographs and pose for photographs.

Tesco is the owner of Blink Box, a video on demand service that sponsors the show, which follows former pop stars as they try to hit the big time for a second time.


Hundreds of fans of both the bands and the show came to meet their heroes at the store over lunchtime.
