I travelled to Sarahjane's with Maria on the thursday ready for our adventure to see Gareth, when we arrived Sarahjane told us that there was going to be a meet and greet but you had to buy raffle tickets eeekkk, and the first prize would be a selfie with Gareth on the stage 
which sounded cool. The day arrived for us to travel to Wednesbury, we left in the afternoon getting a tram from Snow Hill to Wednesbury which was £5 return and only took about 30 minutes, we arrived around 1pm we wasn't sure where the Town Hall was ut we walked up the road a little then saw a sign post saying Town Hall this way so we followed it, as we continued up the road we saw a building with signs on it saying Museum and Art Gallery not reallising that this was the Town Hall so i asked this guy where the Town Hall was and he said that this was the Town Hall lol! as we stood there waiting another chap walked in and asked if we were here to see Gareth and we said yes, he said the doors didn't open till 5pm and if we'd like to go for something to eat or hangout till then we should probs go in the the town centre for something to eat or try Morrisons. So off we trotted walking up the road but as it was a hot day and us not knowing how far maybe a pub would be and not wanting Sarahjane to get too exausted we went to the Cafe in Morrisons instead, i bought a Jacket potatoe with cheese and beans and a side salad, a piece of lemon meringue pie and a cold drink of coke, Maria also got a jacket potato but with tuna on and a side salad, along with a piece of cheeecake and a drink of fanta i think and Sarahjane had a bowl of chips, also had a piece of cheese cake and a cold drink of diet coke it was cheap and cheerful too. We were meeting up with another Gareth fan Sadie who we hadn't seen in years( think it was about 7yrs) she sent Sarahjane a text saying she was on her way and Sarahjane told her to meet us in Morrisons cafe which she and bought herself a sandwhich and a drink and we then sat there talking for ages reminiscing about the first we had seen Gareth and the fun we had too.
Finally it was time to leave so we made our way to the Town hall and waited outside for the doors to open, we then saw Hayley and her mum walking towards us they said they had been to the Whitherspoons pub as they thought we would of been in there lol told them we had gone to Morrisons for something to eat and they said they would go there too, anyway 5pm arrived and we went inside where this man showed us to our seats, we were sat about 8 rows from the front which was good as could see the stage pretty close with it being a small venue.
Some ladies approached us to ask if we wanted some raffle tickets they were a pound a strip so us being muppets bought 10 strips each as we wanted to win the first prize, but me and Maria said we would give our winning ticket to Sarahjane if we won so she could meet Gareth, while we were buying our tickets who should walk onto the stage the man himself with his guitarist Pete he waved to us and let on to us, i had bought my doi poster to give to him, so i ran up to the stage and gave it to him and he said hi asked if i was ok then he continued doing his sound check. As were sat there in the virtualy empty place more people started to arrive they were all rather old and we all looked at each other saying omg its more like a grannies convention with them all being a hell of lot older than us LoL! but soon some younger ones arrived to take there seats. Saw Val arrive with Yvonne (Sharon-ugarboxgirls mum) and they saw us to whcih Val came over to us ahe talked to us all and she seemed nice to me they had bouht raffle tickets too but only 2 or 3 strips i think, it was very warm in the place and we were fanning ourselves with a leaflet, we decided to got to the little bar to get ourselves a drink alcoholic of course lol! we sat back down with our drinks. The evening entertainment started with a girl singing a few songs can't rememer her name then some guy came on with a pianist he sang some songs he was ok but some of the time couldn't really hear what he was singing lol! then this girl group called Cherry Bomb came on who were ok i suppose the compere told us that Gareth had brought them along and that they would be touring with him too. Saw Ann sat at the side of the stage with Peter din't know you was going, The raffle was drawn before Gareth came on i think, we sat there with our tickets in hand wating but unfortunatly we didn't win 
but then the compere said afterwards that Gareth would be selling posters for £5 going to the Mcguire Programe and we looked at each other and said YAY! we would get to meet Gareth anyway, Gareth finally came on stage to a raptourous applause, he sang alot of songs some from his first album, Any one of us, Unchained Melody, I get Sentimental to which at one point in this song think he forgot the words lol! What My Heart Wants To Say, everyone sang along to these, he also sang Endlessly, Angel on My Shoulder, Sweet Child of Mine, he sang Lost in You along with his new songs, Stay, Free and Hold on Tight.... A girl went up to the stage filming Gareth she was only small and the security guy went up to her to tell her move back but Gareth said no leave her she's ok everyone was laughing, then a few others did this, there was one girl who was celebrating her birthday and Gareth sang happy birthday to her and then lent down to give her a kiss, after a bit we saw Sharon get up to move to the front of the stage to which i got up and told Sarahjane to go and along with Maria we got right to the front of the stage with a crowd following us lol! Gareth then sang Summer of 69, Living on a Prayer, Your Sex is on Fire by this time everyone was screaming and clapping along Gareth shook hands with people as they reached up to grab his hand, managed this a few time 
I took a few pics, saw Ann trying to get some pics of Gareth so i asked if she wanted me to get a pic of him for her (Hope the pic comes out) his final song i think was Spirit In The Sky which he got a few people to sing lol! it was soon the end of the gig and the girl who won the raffle got up on the stage to have have pic with Gareth, then we all joined the queue to meet Gareth, Me Sarahjane, Maria and Sadie went in together while we were waitng saw Paul Gareth's dad he saw me and waved, then it was our turn to get our pics with Gareth the security guy took it for us, let Sarahjane go first so she could get her long hug off Gareth, Gareth gave me a hug and said thanks for the poster, then Maria and sadie had there's done we were waitng just outside with Sharon when she said she was going to go back round so we all followed her, Sarahane didn't like the pic that she'd had done she she got another one which Maria took and i got a picture signed which i will post up with my others, and then as we we leaving we saw Paul and he gave me hug and shook my hand and thanked us all for coming and supporting Gareth as its us that keeps him where he is, told him about what happend to Sarahjane at doi and he was shocked to hear this he gave Sarahajane another hug etc and thanked us all again then we left and made our way to the tram stop to get our tram back home, we then got the bus back to Sarahjanes and where we get off the bus we have to walk down this road which don't have much street lighting which makes it rather spooky lol you never know what might leep out of the bushes eek but we were fine as we kept our wits about us and made it back to Sarahjane's no probs.
