Hi Folks
Well what a brilliant night in Birmingham. I set off about 3:15pm, I decided to go into Birmingham City Centre on the teain, I had arranged to meet Carol and Keith at Birmingham New Street. I texted Carol to tell her I would find her and keith as its a huge station. I found them by the front entrance. They were suprised how busy a station it is. We greeted each other really excited for the show but we decided we needed shoes and ear rings so we went to buy some Keith was brilliant and helped us choose he was so patient. We went for a snack and a hot drink as it was going chilly. We didn't hurry to the venue as neither of us had VIP tickets so we could pretty much turn up when we liked.
I showed Carol and Keith the way to the venue and we got there about 6pm. We tumbled in and got seats towards the back of the right hand side of the room. Carol pointed out Ann and I qent over to meet her , what a courageous loveky lady. I also met Andtea for the first time , another loveky lady. I saw somr other friends as well which was fabulous. Then we sat down and waited for the first act.
Cherry Bomb were the first support act , 3 girls and they were actually really good. Jai McDowell came on afterwards and he was really good as well but felt really sorry for him when his music got broken and he had to sing acapella. He did well.
Then came Gareth oh how good he was and it was clear he was still suffering with a sore voice, but he battled on and he he delivered a great performance and made completely sure we were all having a good time. What a gentleman and what a sweetheart. I was so proud of him he saw it through and some.
We then said bye to Ann and Peter and Keith and Carol went up to the front to see if they could find out if Gareth would come out afterwards and I said bye to my friends.
We all met outside and waited a while to see if Gareth came out. Ann and Peter left first duch lovely people, and then Keith Carol and I left as we had to get home and Gareth still hadn't come out. Carol and Keith are such amazing friends and I am lucky to have them as my fiends. I took them back through the city so that they could get back to their car. What a brilliant night.
