Last night was the first night of the Mad About Musicals tour. Naturally so Gareth was very nervous about it after his recent vocal problems, so I am sure you will all be thrilled to read what was posted on Facebook. I can't wait to see him at Canterbury.

I've played many of these sorts of shows in the past, but tonight was a milestone for me. Singing musical theatre is very exposing and any problems can quite easily be heard and so I was quite anxious about tonight's performance. But thanks to a lot of hard work and preparation coupled with the support of some of my oldest fans, I got through it and actually enjoyed it!!! There's still a long way to go but I'm getting there and I thank you all for your continued love and support. Here's to singing!! smile emoticon

I've just got back a trip to mad about musicals...Gareth was amazing as ever, his voice was amazing he hit the really high notes that he wasn't able to do last time I saw him. Glad to see the treatment has paid off! The show was great and all the singers were really good.. However I was abit disappointed with the song choices of the show there was a lot I didn't know I think it's possibly been aimed a lot for older generations....I'm not really bothered what I listen to Gareth sing, everything Is amazing he sings but I did get alittle bored with the others (the were good tho-just not Gareth)and just wished for Gareth to come back on...guess that why it's Better when he's on his own but with him not Doing any on his own we have to get everything in we can. After doing Abit of acting in this I am thoroughly looking for to taking my daughter to panto she will have just turned 3 and Is starting to love him already xx xx
