IT WAS GREAT TO BE ON OUR WAY AGAIN TO SEE GARETH . PETER DROVE US THERE AND THE WEATHER WAS APPAULING BUT AS WE ARRIVED VERY EARLY WE DECIDED TO SEEK OUT THE STAGE DOOR AND MAYBE TO SEE GARETH COME OUT AFTER THE MATINEE . THERE WAS A BIG PORCH TO STAND UNDER SO WE WERE SHELTERED FROM THE POURING RAIN . WE MET LINDA THERE WHO HAD BEEN TO THE MATINEE AND SHE TOLD US WHAT A BRILLIANT SHOW IT WAS . AFTER A WHILE WE WERE ABOUT TO GIVE UP AND THEN OUT CAME GARETH . OMG HOW HE BRIGHTENS UP A DREARY DAY! HE GAVE US A LOVELY HUG AND INDICATED THAT HE COULDN'T SPEAK AND HE DIDN'T UTTER A SOUND , JUST JESTERED WITH HIS HANDS AND I REALLY FELT FOR HIM . WE TOLD HIM WE WOULD SEE HIM LATER AS WE WERE SOMEWHERE ON THE FRONT ROW .
THE PANTO GOT OFF TO A REAL SWING AND ALL THE CHILDREN IN THE THEATRE JOINED IN AND ROSE TO THE OCCASION WITH VERY LOUD VOICES , INTER-ACTING WITH BUTTONS AND THE UGLY SISTERS . WHEN GARETH CAME ON IT WAS OBVIOUS HE HAD MANY FANS IN THE AUDIENCE, CALLING OUT HIS NAME AND CHEERING . GARETHS VOICE NEVER FALTERED ON STAGE AT EITHER SINGING OR TALKING IN HIS POSH PRINCELY VOICE . HE REALLY WENT TO TOWN WITH HIS DANCING AND HAD THE AUDIENCE CLAPPING AWAY , JOINING IN . HE WAS REALLY ENJOYING HIMSELF AND IT WAS WONDERFUL TO SEE . IT WAS THE FUNNIEST PANTO WE HAVE EVER SEEN .
AFTER THE SHOW WE HEADED ROUND TO THE STAGE DOOR AND QUITE A LITTLE CROWD WERE GATHERED ,EVEYONE WAS IN GOOD SPIRITS AND FULL OF THE ENJOYMENT OF THE PANTOMIME . EVERY TIME THE STAGE DOOR OPENED THERE WAS A BIG CHEER BUT WHEN IT WASN'T GARETH WE ALL LAUGHED AT OURSELVES ! A LONG TIME WENT PAST AND NO GARETH APPEARED BUT EVENTUALLY A WOMAN CAME OUT AND ANNOUNCED THAT GARETH AND THE CAST WOULD NOT BE COMING OUT TILL LATE AS THERE WAS APARTY GOING ON . SHE SAID SHE WAS VERY SORRY AS SHE KNEW PEOPLE HAD COME A LONG WAY
I FELT SO LUCKY THAT WE HAD SEEN HIM EARLIER AND IT HAD BEEN A WONDERFUL NIGHT SEEING HIM ON STAGE.
FOR ANYONE WHO'S GOING YOU ARE IN FOR A TREAT AND I'VE LEFT OUT THE DETAILS OF THE SHOW SO AS NOT TO SPOIL IT FOR YOU .
IT'S BEEN ANOTHER WONDERFUL GARETH MEMORY FOR ME

FANTASTIC ANN, SO PLEASED YOU WERE THERE FOR THE FIRST NIGHT. AS YOU SAY, WHO CARES ABOUT RAIN WHEN THE SUNSHINE COMES FROM OUR LOVELY GARETH!  YOU WERE VERY WISE TO GO TO THE STAGE DOOR FIRST, SO YOU GOT TO SEE HIM. I AM SORRY TO HEAR HE COULD NOT SPEAK EXCEPT IN A WHISPER, IT DOES NOT SEEM FAIR TO ME, THAT AS WELL AS HAVING TO BATTLE A STAMMER, HE NOW HAS TO PRESERVE HIS VOICE SOCIALLY SO HE CAN SING.  GARETH'S DETERMINATION AND BRAVERY CONTINUE TO INSPIRE ME, WHAT A TRUE STAR HE IS IN EVERY WAY. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HIM MYSELF SOON. WHICH LINDA WAS IT YOU SAW ANN? LOVE CAROL XX |

A VERY INTERESTING REPORT AS ALWAYS ANN, WE ARE SO GLAD YOU GOT TO SEE GARETH TOO. SHAME ABOUT THE WEATHER, BUT I AM SURE GARETH IS WORTH BRAVING IT! WE HAVE CAROL AND KIRSTY GOING SOON TOO, SO LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE REPORTS. DID YOU GET A PHOTO WITH GARETH THIS TIME?

Wow.. What a great time we had at the show today, it really is a great show! And if just because Gareth's in it! All the cast and sets and really good! I had hoped Gareth would have been on stage and sang alittle more, but heyho that's what happeneds when he has to share the stage!! He was great as always and I am always mesmorised how well Gareths speech is when he's in character really is amazing!! His voice was still brilliant and if you don't know Gareth like we do you wouldn't have known any different!! Too me he didn't sound croaky but he was defiantly holding back! To normal! I really hope He fully recovers! My husband has never seen Gareth before and he was pleasantly surprised with both Gareth and the panto! My 3year old daughter lottie loved it but couldn't get her head around when Gareth wasn't on stage and just kept asking for Gareth.....he definitely has a new little fan!! When we got back to the car lottie asked me if next time I see Gareth I would take her too!
During the interval I went to ask reception if it would be possible to have a photo with Gareth after, she asked another guy who just said no then she continued to say he's a very quiet and shy person, who keeps himself private! To which I replied Gareth is always happy to meet his fans! She just looked at me and told be where the stage door was but said he Prob wouldn't come out!
After the show we got back in the car and pulled up at the stage door! A man came I out to say Gareth Prob wouldn't be comming out until after the evening show! I got lottie out and we waited around so a short while, where I got to meet a few of you guys for the first time.... I get a little confused who's who on what site less u hAve your pic up...It felt alittle awkward as i am just a stranger but was lovely to finally meet and hope we do again!i think it's lovely how you guys have other Gareth fans to go with! Hope you enjoyed the show as much the second time and got to see Gareth! After around 15mins of waiting we got back in the car, I decided to wait alittle longer as its been a while since I last met Gareth and also lottie really wanted too! Unfortunately he never came out and with only 20min before the next show I decided he wasn't going to come out and headed home! Gutted we didn't get a photo but had a lovely time! Going to try and squeeze another visit again before it ends although its a 4hr round trip it's well worth it! I managed to get a few cheeky pics at the end but they are not to great as didn't want to get caught! Xxx

Oh what a fantastic report Kirsty, it's lovely that Lottie is Gareth's new fan. Did you get to meet Andrea, she was going with her daughter?
I am sorry you didn't get to see him, its always the icing on the cake. I am at the matinee tomorrow, sorry I have missed you but hopefully at a later date we may meet up. I am hoping I will see him, but who knows?

Great report Kirsty, many thanks. Gareth doesn't get much time between shows, so he can't always come out after the matinee. It's a shame you didn't get the chance, but maybe next time.

X Oh great, at least you have seen one of us. Thanks Kirsty, we are in the front row, and Keith is nervous that the ugly sisters might call him onstage, bless him.
