Hi Folks
Well we hear that The Gorgeous Gareth Gates is to star in the Musical "Hair" Now I hear that there is an amount of Nudity in this Musical. Is that Good or Bad? Will this cause rifts in the flute with people going?

I feel slightly outnumbered here, being the only male. I can't believe all you lovely ladies including Debbie want to see Gareth's bits!
Iisn't it about the acting and the singing? I can't see Suzanne taking Missy to see daddy in this one.

I think I am quite broad minded, and I don't want to judge before I hear more about how Gareth is portraying himself in this musical. However, he has been so wonderful in musical theatre and built up a host of new fans who admire his voice and acting skills. I don't want his critics to say this is the only way he has left to be a success, you know how cruel they can be.
At the moment I am veering towards a thumbs down, but will make my final decision, when Gareth has told us more.
Thanks for this thread Debbie, and I'm interested to know what everyone else thinks.

I am a bit bothered that if it does indeed contain an extent of Nuduty the press will not be favourable towards Gareth.
Lets see what everyone else says.

I don't know anything about this show yet BUT even if there is nudity I can't see Gareth baring all (loosing concentration of post) ... back :lol: seriously Will was in Mrs Henderson Presents in a naked scene ( I had to watch it my sister a huge fan and made me) but there was no way he was going to bare all, I think there was a glimpse of his back side. If anyone has seen "Hair" recently they will know what happens as Gareth is playing the lead role. I really can't believe he will, would I mind if he did ..... NO not at all, well Yes actually I would because unfortunately with my lack of eye sight I wouldn't be able to see I'm not sure how the fans will react, some didn't like the cosmo picture he did for charity and that was very tastefully done. Its Gareth's body and a very beautiful one, so its Gareth's decision what he does with it I will be very surprised if he does bare all No one will believe we want to go for Gareth's singing ... will they ... H if I saw Gareth naked he is so beautiful it would be art not porn I can't really give it a thumbs up or down, personally I was hoping Gareth's next thing would be an album, its not something I would choose for him to do but I have no problem with him doing it, if thats what he wants, as for the press they seem to slag him off what ever he does most of the time so its usually a no win situation with them. |
