Dating a member of a band typically attracts connotations of tour buses, hedonistic parties and viciously fending off the advances of ambitious groupies.
But it was an altogether more family-friendly affair when the McFly boys took their leading ladies out for a night on the town.
The boy band took their other halves to the press night performance of The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium last night.
Plus one: The McFly boys, including Harry Judd (left) and Danny Jones, attended the Wizard of Oz press night with their leading ladies Izzy Johnston and Georgia Horsley
They were there to cheer on Harry Judd's Strictly Come Dancing co-star Russell Grant, who was making his debut after a cast change.

Harry, 26, was accompanied by long-time love Izzy Johnston, 27, who smiled happily as she left the theatre hand-in-hand with her drummer beau.
Tom Fletcher also kept a firm grip on his fiancée Giovanna Falcone, sister of TOWIE star Mario.
Loved-up: Tom Fletcher and his fiancée Giovanna Falcone left the London Palladium hand in hand
All-star support: The band turned out to cheer on Harry's Strictly Come Dancing co-star Russell Grant as he made his debut in The Wizard of Oz
Fletcher, 26, tweeted after the show: 'That was AWESOME!!!! Really, really enjoyed the Wizard of Oz tonight.'
Giovanna added that she was enjoying a night out with the whole 'McCrew'. The couple, who have known each other since they were, became engaged in April last year. Tom proposed at the Sylvia Young Theatre School, where they met as students.
Danny Jones and his girlfriend, former Miss England Georgia Horlsey, were also pictured heading home from the theatre together.
Cast change: Harry and another former Strictly star, Robbie Savage, posed with Over The Rainbow runner-up Sophie Evans, who has taken over the role of Dorothy
Off to see the Wizard: Denise Welch and Nancy Dell'Olio turned out for the occasion
Dougie Poynter's girlfriend Lara Carew-Jones was also in attendance, but slipped away without posing for pictures with the I'm A Celebrity winner, who she flew out to Australia for in December to welcome out of the jungle.
McFly took a break from their rehearsals for the group night out, ahead of the Keep Calm and Play Louder tour, which kicks off in Portsmouth on March 7.
And it wasn't just the band cheering on Russell from the audience. More of the comic's Strictly co-stars also turned out to support him.
Stage players: Kara Tointon nipped over from her own play to say hello to Russell, while Gareth Gates was also on hand to support the new cast
Robbie Savage was there, posing for a picture with Harry and new Dorothy Sophie Evans, who came runner-up in Over The Rainbow.
Nancy Dell'Olio was also in the audience. Gareth Gates and Denise Welch attended too, while Kara Tointon nipped over from the Harold Pinter Theatre where she is starring in Absent Friends to say hello.
Grant, 61, took over the role of The Wizard on February 14 and will star in the production for a 12-week stint.
