I never like having to do this but sometimes there is just too much inexactitude being circulated to ignore.
Recently there was a new forum created "Memory Lane" this was not planned and happened because of a crisis at home. The roof had a major leak which flooded the loft and bought down the bathroom ceiling.
However since its been fixed we have had to go up to the loftspace to rescue anything that hadn't been ruined by the water those things that you know you want but aren't using right now.
There was a chest up there containing video cassette tapes most of them pre recorded and replaced with DVD, but there was some that were previous blank cassettes that had things recorded from the TV. There were 3 that had Gareth related content 2 which had already been uploaded to youtube and the last one put up there in error as it hadn't been. This is the tape that had the Gareth cams on it and the uploads that you find in Memory Lane.
Now I had 2 choices either say oh well never mind I've seen them all or consider those that might not have I chose the latter because I am a Gareth fan and this is all here because I know you all are as well.
Our past is what makes us what we are today yes warts and all! I am proud that Gareth made the Gareth Cams and shows up what a magical young man he was and what a truely remarkable man he has become.
I took the drenched video and set about drying it and trying to restore it with H it took 4 hours drying all the loose tape with a hair dryer and another 5 to reel it back up , re-case it and upload it bit by bit by bit. It nearly ruined the only video machine we have left.
So I am most upset that this is being regarded as good as taken off someone else, it wasn't and nothing that I have ever uploaded or ever will upload will be. Furthermore its not appropriate to Gareth today. Well without Gareth yesterday we wouldn't have Gareth today!
It strikes me sadly that some people don't have enough worth while things to do in their life and need to resort to trying to verbally batter, upset and deflate those that do!
I am deeply hurt and extremely upset!
