MY LEGALLY BLONDE REPORT.

Hi i went to Sarahjanes on Tuesday the 28th of August and went every day to see Gareth except the Saturday as went home then so will put up seperate reports for each day as if i put it all up in one post with the pics too it would be huge LMAO

TUESDAY ...

I travelled to Birmingham to Sarahjane's on the Tuesday, had time to relax for abit then we got dressed into our legally blonde outfits, we got a few weird looks from people as we were on the bus going into town center LOL! and some nice comments too from mostly guys saying we looked lovely in our pink outfits We finally arrived at the Stagedoor where we was told that Gareth was already inside so we decided to go sit on a bench outside a pub just up the road where we could still see the stage door hoping that he would come out before the evening show started as it was just the one show, we sat just having fun like we do when we saw a guy come out the stagedoor with two girls he had jeans on a white t-shirt and black shades and we both said ooo he's nice looking, then realised it was Gareth LoL! so we quickly got to the door and i shouted him and he came back to us gave us a hug and we each had a pic with him.then we let him go for something to eat. He came back holding a small tub of Ben and Jerrys ice cream and i commented ooo ice cream and Gareth said he had just been to Nando's and patted his stomach saying he was stuffed LOL! and seemed to be handing us his tub of ice cream but he didn't and we let him go back in saying we would see him later We then went to go get ourselves something to eat, we were just in time too to at the coffee room opposite the Hippodrome Theatre, it was five to seven and the waitress said they shut the kitchen at 7 so we ordered a luxury hot chocolate,some cheesey chips each a bread basket between us and some ice cream then after we had eaten we went to the pub just next door for a drink only had a J2O though and we played cards till it was time to go back to see Gareth come out. We got to the stagedoor just before the show ended so no one was there yet, but then they all came out and it started to get a bit crowded with loads of young girls most waiting to see Gareth and screaming when he finally came out he did turn to us first but everyone else moved forward to get his autograph and pics too so we watied as we knew he would eventually come to us, some loud mouthed lads shouted something inappropiate to him and Gareth told them to get lost (he actually swore at them ) saying there are kids present. we finally got a pic with him and said we would see him everyday he grinned happily at us. WEDNESDAY ...

Wednesday was a double show, so off we went to wait at the stagedoor while we were waiting it started to rain and we didn't have coats on and no umbrella either eek so we stood in the fire exit doorway of the theatre to shelter from the rain, we were doing abit of singing lol when this coloured guy walked past us holding an umbrella and he also had another one folded up, he came back to us and held out his brolly to me to take and said he had this other one he insisted i took it so i did and he walked off putting the other one up he had thought it was nice of him as it helped shelter us fom the rain while we were waitng we saw Ann and her Husband Peter and they came to stand with us was lovely seeing them We suddenly saw Gareth come round the corner on his phone wearing his shades again he said hi but said he was late and had to get in so we all let him go but some people stopped him at the stage door and he signed some things for as you know he can't say no bless him. Can't remember what we did while the afternoon show was on lol, but when it finished we again went to the stagedoor to wait for him but he didn't come out he may of gone out another way or even fallen asleep bless him. So we then went off to get something it eat again our usual place we again had hot chocolate, but just plain chips, and bread but we decedid to get a different pudding we had bread and butter pudding and custard at first it tasted rather nice but when we had both finished it we both felt sick as it was very sweet. so we paid the bill and went over to the pub again where we went to the toilet and Sarahjane was actually sick eek i was ok even though i still had a sickly feeling. We bought a J2O and sat down and played cards, one guy was talking to us as he played on fruitmachine, we had put some music on the jukebox we chose "I'm sexy and i know it, twice and another song the man commented that we liked this song lol he was still on the fruit machine and he won £140 (he had put in 70 quid, he said he goes around all the pubs in the area going on fruit machines, he said he made loads of money, infact he was quite loaded lol. He sat with us for abit the said bye to us shaking our hands and kissed them too LOL! saying it was lovely talking to us he even told us his name. Not long after he left 2 other guys came they were quite hefty blokes, and the younger one started saying inappropate things to us (Sexually harrassing us) he said something else to us saying he wanted to do something sexual to us but more towards Sarahjane
and this scared her, but he kept on so we made a quick exit, and went back to wait for Gareth to come out. when he did we each had a kissy pic of us kissin him we told him about the guy in the pub and he said awwww there are all kinds of weirdo;s around, you be careful and take care i gave Gareth a banner i had made too

THURSDAY ...

Thursday..Maria was ment to be coming to see the show today but she text Sarahjane saying she had been sick in the early hours and wouldn't be able to make it whch was a shame but she said that Sarahjanes mum could use the ticket instead so as not to waste it, we were to meet Hayley and her Mum as they were coming to we waited at the stage door, and asked if Gareth had arrived yet and they said nope he hadn't so we waited and waited till about 2pm still no Gareth, at the stagedoor they said he still hadn't arrived so we left to get to our seats and buy a programme etc and the lady inside who was selling the programmes said did you see him and we said nope he was late and she said yep he was very late and had sneaked in through the foyer lol. So we sat in our seats on the second row really enjoyed the show it was funny in parts Gareth was fantastic even though he only had one song to sing he sang it well as always he did speak alot and this was word perfect he was on stage for most of the show in the background. Jennifer Ellison was good too, loved the Hairdresser scene it was very funny with the Gay guy and we both loved he UPS delivery guy he was rather dishy LOL! and the courtroom scene was funny to with the 2 camp guys and the dogs were so cute too well trained We all went to the stagedoor afterwards to meet him, we let Hayley go first and she got a pic and had her bag signed i had a pic too, Sarahjane had a pic too but she looked tired on hers so she's not posted hers up bless her We saw Suzanne and Missy across the road and went over to her we each got a pic and Sarahjane showed her the things she had made for Gareth and she said they were brillant and that Gareth keeps everything he is given i mentione about the banner i had made him and she smiled and said yes it was lovely. We then went off for something to eat at the same place as the other days Hayley and her mum came with us too, but Sarahjane's mum went home as didn't stay for after the evening show. Me and Sarahjane had hot chocolate again, and the usual chips and bread but we had ice cream this time lol Sarahjane had lost her glasses the previous evening and i asked in the coffee room if they had found them but they said no, eventually we finished our meal and Hayley and her Mum said goodbye, we paid and then went over to the pub, went to the bar where i was about to say i wanted a J2o but the barman new exactly what i wanted lol and when he came back he placed Sarahjane;s sunglasses on the bar she must of left them there the previous night we go harrassed by that guy thankfully he wasn;t in there tonight we sat down and played cards again, nothing major just 21 and Snap! LOL! we went back to the stagedoor and met Gareth where we got a pic each

FRIDAY ...

Me and Sarahjane went again to meet Gareth we arrived at the stagedoor and asked if Gareth had arrived and the man on the door said nope, so we went to sit on the bench outside the pub, we sat people watching lol then we saw a white Range Rover with blacked out windows come round the corner at first we weren't sure if it was Gareth as he wasn't driving, we saw it was Paul his dad and Ali was in the passenger seat and Gareth was in the back with Missy we got up and went to the stagedoor where the car had pulled up, Paul got out and and said hi to us and opened the boot to get Gareths bag and shades out, Gareth got out and took them off his dad, then he lent in the back and said see you babs to Missy who said something and Gareth replyed with Cheeky LoL! we got a couple of pics of him holding somethings, Sarahjane got him to hold her little toy dog she bought with her and i got him to hold a sign saying "I'M SEXY AND I KNOW IT" when Gareth was holding this Paul looked to see what it said and laughed when he saw it Gareth then went inside we waited for abit to see if he would come out for something to eat maybe while we were waiting we each had a picture with the UPS guy and also got a picture with Jennifer Ellison too as Gareth didn't come out we went to get something to eat at our usual place and the usual LOL! in there they were setting up for and open mic thing where i think people got up to sing but alot of peopel were coming in with guitars, we were eyeing up this guy who had rather nice muscles he was oldish probs my age LOL and another guy who wasn't to bad, but we didn;t stay we went to the pub to get a drink and play cards to pass the time till it was time to see Gareth again At the stagedoor it wasn't too busy and when Gareth came out we each got something signed i got him to sign Fifty Shades of Grey Book which Sarahjane gave to me as she didn't like it, Ali was there too and she looked to see what the book was and she was teasing Gareth saying awwww what you gonna put aye and laughing LOL! Gareth eventually signed "I am Christian love Gareth we both said i hope not the hitting part and Gareth just smiled i think eek, Sarahjane had a black and white photo of Gareth she wanted him to sign and she asked me to ask him to put "I AM YOUR KNIGHT IN SHIINING ARMOUR AND I WILL ALWAYS PROTECT YOU LOVE GARETH" He said awww thats sweet she wanted him to put that to make her feel better after that pervet said them things to us the other night and also as she has bad dreams too.

Andrea this is all amazing, the reports and the pics, what an amazing week you have spent seeing Gareth and having so much fun!

I shall reread it, so much to take in. Sorry to hear the young lad was nasty to Gareth, I wonder why.

Oh Andrea, what a fantastic week you girls have had with Gareth. Great reports and lovely pics.

You always make such fun when you go just being yourselves, I still remember one Christmas when Keith and I came to the stage door with you, we all had a great time. I am sure Gareth enjoyed all the fun too.

I am sorry someone had to spoil it by abusing him, poor Gareth! I am also sorry Sarahjane was hassled, hugs to her from me. I will pm her soon.

I was at York on Sat but not had time to write a report yet i will to post one tomoz.

What a fab report Andrea. You had areally great time. The pics are amazing. I love Gareth wearing his shades. I was there too on Saturday, the matinee. It is a brilliant Show is'nt it?

Can't believe you were there on Sat ,same show as me wish i had known Margaret we could have met up!!!!! Gareth was well received by the audience wasn't he.Just Loved it.

Me, Hubby, Daughter Sue and grand-daughter Rachael,travelled by car, hubby driving, down to York on Sat morn approx 80 miles ,used the Park & Ride service, free parking 60p return bus fare -brill.
arrived in York round about 11am.
Mooched around abit watched some sreet theatre had something to eat then went and sat down by the river.It was really hot .Made off for the theatre got there 2.15.
As i was going in to the dress circle the attendant asked if i wanted a programme,well i did but with sweets ,pop,handbag,jacket in my hands i just said how much, she replied £4 i couldn.t get to my purse so muttered that i would find my seat and come back.
I found my seat, right in the centre of row d, brill view.when i was ready to go back for my programme and i realised the rows of seats went from one side of the theatre to the other with no centre isle.Ppl had piled in behind me :othe row was full i just couldn't face stuggling to get out so thought i would just get a programme in the interval.

At 2.33 the show commenced and 5 mins later the stage cleared the curtain came down :oand a fellow appeared on stage to tell us the stage lights had failed but they were working on them and would soon be ok.The noise was deafening from the audience in the auditorium and it seemed to get unbearably hot. The fellow made a couple more appearances along similar lines followed by more noise and great joviality from the audience before the curtain went up at 3pm and the show resumed starting with the 2nd song still dont know if we got to see all of the action with first song.
In no time Gareth was onstage looking fab so suave i couldn't take my eyes off him he played his role brilliantly.All was going swell until 3.50 when spluttering noises started coming thru the sound system.Stage clears curtain comes down yet again and the same fellow appeared onstage, ::)He was attemting to inform us that the sound system had sort of packed up but we couldn't hear him very well.

AS THE SOUND SYSTEM HAD PACKED UP!!!!

The audience pitch rose to new heights and the heat up in the dress circle was becoming unbearable.Was beginning to feel like we were in a sauna.It was very uncomfortable
4.05pm and the show got going again think it was 4.15pm when the curtain came down but this time for the interval.Every body just made for the bar, dehydration being the operative word.
We were dead lucky just as were making our way out of the auditorium a man opened a door with a key.and beckoned us in.It was an unused bar with comfy seats, tables etc but the bar counter was closed up with a grid across.There was only about a dozen ppl in there as the rest had dashed off to the bar. ;D It was really cool in there with cloakroom /toilets etc. I think the least they could have done was offer everyone a free drink.
Just before 4.30pm it was announced the show would start in 3 mins obviously cut the interval short to make up time.We made our way back to our seats. The show eventually finished 35 mins behind schedule just after 5.30pm.The final pm show in York started at 7.30pm we didn't go to the stage door as we didn't think Gareth would have time to come out,this is when i realised i hadn't bought a programme gggrrrrrrrrrrr.
We liked the show, Hubby had a few reservations he wasn't struck on Elle's (Faye Brooks) voice thought it to harsh .We thought Jen Ellison was very good infact the rest of the cast were good i didn't recognise Chico until the 'He's Gay He's European' scene.
And of course Gareth altho he only did one solo which i loved he was brilliant with the dialogue.
Roll on Boogie Nights next March!!!!
