Good morning ladies, how are you all?
It seems if reports are accurate, that Gareth will be returning to pop music, or whatever music he has lined up for you, with a band. The band is going to have a name. So do we think it will be something like Gareth Gates and the Heartbeats, or Gareth Gates accompanied by the Heartbeats, and will it no longer just be Gareth Gates the pop star. I am not suggesting that Heartbeats will be the name, just giving an example.
What I want to know is how you all feel about this new move, happy, or do you want Gareth to stay the same? HHxx

I have seen and heard Gareth sing with his band, and it was awesome! If he wants to make his new music as part of a band, it is his choice, maybe he feels that is the way to go now. But I don't want him to lose his identity, I wish him the best whatever he does, and whatever makes him happy.

I haven't reaaly seen Gareth perform with his band yet but if thats the way he wants to go then good on him  i wish him all the best in whatever he does and if this is gonna make happy am happy for him too |

I too have seen Gareth perform with his Band and he/they were amazing, personally I would like the name Gareth Gates to stay as in Gareth Gates and the..... but I am affraid the band may have a name of there own. BUT Gareth's name is too well known, so I believe it the band to most people will be known as Gareth Gates Band the ...... Don't want Gareth to lose his identity and become the lead singer of ... so still hoping for GARETH GATES and the ......... can't wait to hear the new music, and see Gareth perform it ...gigs ...album ..tour ...HEAVEN !

I think Gareth and his band are great, nice for Gareth to have some mates to travel with doing gigs and he seems to be really enjoying gigging with his band.
Gareth will never lose his identity though as he is the lead singer, so believe it could be called just Gareth Gates and whatever his bandname or just Gareth and _____ a bit like Cliff and the shadows.

Hi Folks
I think it's really lovely to see a proper band behind an artist. I am not sure they need a brand name to be honest . This is not a formation of a group it's merely an artist that chooses to take a live band with him.
Gareth an acknowledge them before and after every Gig.
I think it looks and sounds a whole lot better than trying to sing along to a backing track. It becomes rigid and there is no room for change unless you change the whole backing track.
This way every gig will be different and Gareth can sing how he feels like singing on the day and they can do likelwise and play as they like. They will gel with each other and they will be able to be totally spontaneous and this will become seemless.
Brilliant I think.
